Card-present (in-person)
Card-present acceptance is not available yet. It's on the roadmap and will ship with the Pay-Pi POS app.
Today, Pay-Pi supports card-not-present (online) payments and ACH. In-person, card-present acceptance — reading a physical card at the point of sale — is planned but not yet live. There are no terminal or card-present API endpoints at this time.
What's coming
The Pay-Pi POS app will let merchants take in-person card payments and bring those transactions into the same account, readiness, payouts, and reporting as online payments — one merchant account, both channels.
In the meantime
Build your online integration now against the
online payments flow. It uses the same
/v1/payments API and merchant accounts that card-present will build on, so
your integration carries forward when in-person support arrives.
